As Of Counsel, Jordi Wals is associated with Yspeert. In this capacity, he works closely with Yspeert on complex corporate and M&A matters.
In his practice, Jordi advises companies, investors and management teams on strategic corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, minority investments, restructurings and management participation schemes. He also regularly advises clients on general corporate law matters, such as corporate governance and commercial transactions.
Jordi was educated at Leiden University (LL.M. Company Law) and began his career as a lawyer in 2011 at Linklaters, where he worked in Amsterdam and Madrid. He subsequently practised as an independent lawyer, including as M&A counsel at ASML and as co-founder of a boutique firm focused on corporate and energy law. In addition, he was affiliated with Freshfields in Amsterdam. Since April 2025, Jordi has been associated with Yspeert Advocaten as a partner.
