‘Clear communication is key for me’

Prior to my work at Yspeert advocaten, I worked as legal advisor for both entrepreneurs and government agencies. During this period, I specialized in both general administrative law (such as enforcement) and environmental law. I am familiar with the complexities of government decision-making. Clear communication is key for me. I was raised with Frisian down-to-earthness and am therefore averse to unnecessary embellishments. I keep my advice and documents concise and to the point, and I value building a strong relationship with my clients. Only by truly understanding the client can we work together to find an appropriate and satisfactory solution to the legal issue. It is even better to prevent problems before they arise. This requires active involvement in the cases we handle and staying abreast of the latest developments in relevant legal fields.

Winand Kuiper studied the master Dutch Law at the University of Groningen. Before joining Yspeert advocaten, Winand worked as a legal advisor for entrepreneurs and was employed by the environmental department and a municipality.
